As a food science and human nutrition expert, I would not be delivering any information to you without the credentials necessary to defend myself. I promise. Before I delved into nutrition and food science, I studied journalism for four years. First rule. Credible sources. Second rule. Write well. Third rule. Keep your readers. Five years after that I returned to academia to gain the knowledge which proves my status as a nutrition and food expert. Spending the latter years of my twenties in northern Maine at a research university and studying under some of the most credible PhDs in the field gives me the confidence to use critical thinking skills to deliver thoughtful and intelligent health care. Practicing and delivering clinical health coaching over the years has proved to me how confused everyone is. My versatility as a dietitian, conversationalist with a zeal for truth and philosophy, and adamant student and teacher of health and wellness, makes me a woman who believes all of us have the power to dramatically change our lives with minimal effort if we could just trust someone to lead the way. There is so much misinformation that is actually deterring us from becoming our strongest, healthiest selves. If I have convinced you, please stay tuned!
